PuttSim is a home putting simulator for indoor golf putting practice. It uses your phone camera to read the start line and the speed of every real putt, then plays it out on a virtual green to a hole at the distance you choose.
Coming to iPhone and Android. The mat and the app launch together as one kit.
Lay the navy mat on a flat floor and hold your phone about 36 inches above it, looking straight down. The app reads the coral marks to learn the scale of the picture in real inches.
Putt a ball off the starting circle with your own putter. The camera follows it through the first three to four feet and measures its start line and its speed.
The virtual green takes over from there. Your putt rolls across the slopes at the green speed you picked and either drops or misses, at a distance well past the length of your mat.
PuttSim reads your putts from the mat, so the app needs the mat to work. They launch together as one kit.
A 14 in by 50 in navy mat. Coral marks every 5 inches give the camera a ruler to measure against.
