Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of puttsim.com, the PuttSim app and PuttSim products. By using them, you agree to these terms.
Who can use PuttSim
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, use PuttSim with a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms.
The app and your license
PuttSim LLC ("PuttSim", "we") grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your own devices. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app or the website. We own the app, the website, the PuttSim name and logo, and the mat artwork.
If you download the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies. PuttSim, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the app and its support.
Subscriptions
The app is offered by subscription, which may start with a free trial. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your store account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds follow the store's own policies. The price and trial length are shown before you subscribe.
Mats and other products
The app needs the PuttSim mat to measure putts. Prices, shipping and return terms for physical products are shown at checkout. Payments for orders are processed by Stripe.
Use it safely
- Putt only where it is safe. Keep the area clear of people, pets and breakable items.
- Do not putt toward anyone, and watch your backswing.
- Set up the stand on stable ground so it cannot tip over.
- Keep small parts and equipment away from young children.
You use PuttSim at your own risk and are responsible for the space where you play.
Measurements are estimates
The app estimates the start line and speed of your putts and plays them out on a simulated green. Results are for practice and entertainment. They are not exact, and the putting handicap is not an official USGA or World Handicap System handicap.
Acceptable use
Do not use PuttSim to break the law, to interfere with the app or its servers, to access other users' accounts, or to cheat in ways that affect other users.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you think your account was used without your permission. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. You can stop using PuttSim at any time.
No warranty
PuttSim is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, PuttSim LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injury or property damage that happens while you putt. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms and the app. We will change the date above, and for material changes we will tell you by email or in the app. Continuing to use PuttSim after a change means you accept it.
